Devotional Reading: Matt. 17:15 – 20
The throne room is the engine room of a believer, it is the room where prayers are answered and things are called forth as though they were. Many people approach this room with lack of understanding of how it works. Every room is usually locked with key, no matter how strong you are, if you don’t find the key, the door is shut and you are kept outside, but the moment you find the key, the door opens and you can access everything in the room.
The throne room is the room of prayer where prayers are answered. There are keys that unlocks this room, you need to have the right key to open the door. I usually wonder why some believers spend so much time in prayer and yet they don’t receive answers. The Lord gave me some insight to some of the reasons why and how anyone can approach the throne room and receive answer. Importantly, I will like you to know that God is not biased, He is not man that answers Mr M better than Mrs B, No! He doesn’t. Mr M might have found the keys that opens the door, while Mrs B may still be searching for the key to open her door of breakthrough.
The fundamental key on which all others are built on is FAITH. After locating the will of God concerning your situation, the next thing to do is to build up your faith for effective communication and guaranteed answer. Faith is a potent force without which prayer will be absolutely unproductive and cannot be answered.
The bible calls FAITH “The substance of things hoped for…Heb.11:1. That means it is the ticket on which you take delivery of anything you ordered from heaven.
In Matt.17:19-20, there is an interesting story about the disciples of Jesus who happens to be following Him, they couldn’t access the throne room for the deliverance of the child possessed with the devil. Jesus said to them when they asked why they couldn’t cast the devil out “because of your unbelief… until faith is in place, prayer will only end in frustration, there will be no answer. As powerful as the word of God is, it can only produce results when faith is active.
Do you want the throne room door to open for you whenever you approach it? Read what James 1:6-7 says “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.” Once faith is established when you approach the throne room, you can be sure of answers. I want to hear your testimony this year that your throne room opens for you anytime you approach it, and so shall it be for you in Jesus name. Therefore, have faith in God and in His word whenever you approach the throne room, have the mindset that God will do it, believe it without wavering, that is what it means to have absolute faith in God, i pray that, this year 2020, God will increase your faith to recieve in Jesus name.
Prayer point: O LORD, increase my faith to receive from you in Jesus name.
