Couple of days ago, we established the fact that for anyone to access the throne room, He/she must have absolute FAITH in God which is the bedrock of the throne room. Heb. 11:6a says “but without faith it is impossible to please God”. So now that we understand the importance of Faith when accessing the throne room, let’s look at the the next step we should take before we can fully enter into the throne room.
The next step is WORSHIP, you must approach the throne of grace with worship, if you want to gain acceas and get God’s attention. King David in Psalms 100:2 & 4 gave us the secret “serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Murmuring, grumbling, screaming or shouting and tears do not give you access into God’s presence, worship does. When you come into God’s presence with worship coupled with thanksgiving, He welcomes you into His presence with joy and gladness, ready to give you audience and intervene in whatever you bring before Him.
After Elijah fixed the altar and put everything in place, the bible says, “…he cut the bull in pieces and laid it in the wood…” that is the sacrifice of praise. Praise and worship is the most potent way to attract God’s immediate attention, because He dwells in the midst of praise. Ps. 22: 3
For those who know me, you will attest to the fact that I love worship and praise, at the London branch of our church, we offer regular praise/worship and thanksgiving; that is why I do encourage our choir in Nigeria and Uk to commit themselves fully to rendering quality worship, praise and thanksgiving unto God. God will come and dwell among us and grant our requests because God loves quality worship, praise and thanksgiving. I have learnt from experience that when it comes to praising God, the best must be offered to Him if we must recieve blessings in His presence.
Accessing the throne room after you have established your faith in God should begin with worship and praise, don’t just start praying or pushing those requests before God without first saying thank you.
Appreciate God for who He is, thank him for all that He has done for you, thank him for what he is currently doing for you and thank him for what he is yet to do. When you do this, God will move on your behalf, the door of mercy will open ajah for you, before you finish asking, God will answer. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and into his court with praise, you will see God move into action on your behalf. In this year 2020 because of your praiae in the name of Jesus, make thanksgiving your lifestyle in all situations in this year 2020, you will experience the greatest positive turnaround in your life in Jesus name.
I pray for you that God will give you a lifestyle of thanksgiving; it shall be well with you and all of yours in Jesus name.
