DO YOU KNOW YOUR GOD?

Memorize: And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8.

“I can’t.” is a common statement we hear all the time, and sometimes for good reason. Children say “I can’t” because they lack knowledge or skill. They literally can’t!
And sometimes adults say “I can’t” for the same reason. “I can’t be an astronaut.” “I can’t be a professional athlete, I can’t live Holy.” I can’t do this; I can’t do that, In most cases, those are honest and accurate statements which anyone may understand

But there is a problem when we don’t think we can because we don’t know our God. If someone is sick and do not believe God can heal him/her even without medical application. Then think about the woman with an issue of blood twelve years in Matthew 9: 20-22; she went to all available doctors in town, they took all her money and left her without healing, she ended up coming to Jesus and received her healing without payment or medication.

There are numerous instances in Scripture that describe God being able for those who know Him.And there are no examples of God not being able to do something because of limitations to His power. God is unlimited, nothing is impossible for Him to do.

Daniel 11:32b; but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
One of the most encompassing statements that connects God’s ability to our ability is, 2 Corinthians 9:8: “God is able to make all grace abound” toward us so we will have “all sufficiency in all things.”

Because God is able, we are able, grace is what we need, it then produces all sufficiency, which in turn destroys lack or impossibility.

When we say, “I can’t give, I can’t love, I can’t forgive, i can’t reconcile, I can’t repent, it is not because God cannot help you do those things,. . .” you are saying, “God isn’t able to make that grace abound to you.” it means you don’t know your God.
Don’t limit yourself by limiting God. Let His grace abound towards you, all things are possible for those who believe and trust in God.

I pray for you that the grace of God will abound unto you and do the impossible in your life today, in Jesus name.

Prayer point: O God of all possibilities, help me know you more in my life in Jesus name.

Key Dose: When all hope is gone, there is hope with God.
