Memorise: And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety. Job 11:18
Devotional Reading: Hebrews 13:1-15
Fear is a major issue that confront most people. Whether great or small we all experience it. Experiencing fear is not the problem, but giving in to fear is the challenge. Research has shown that most people that died from an accident, or sickeness because they allowed fear to subdue the situation. So many believers, great men and women of God have phobias. You must work on your phobia and develop strong faith in God that will help you conquer fear. Fear is a killer of destiny, fear has the power to cut short any life that allows it. Napoleon was crippled by ailirophobia, an irrational fear of cats. Queen Elizabeth I was terrorised by anthophobia, an abnormal fear of flowers, she particularly feared roses. Adolph Hitler suffered from claustrophobia, even the father of psychoanalysis, Sigmund Freud, grappled with agoraphobia, a fear of crowds and public place.
The challenge is that many of us deny dealing with a kind of overwhelming fear, and rarely consider it a serious problem. But the fact remains that our fears hinder us. Unless we face them, we might not be able to reach our God given potential in life. Maybe you not view the thing that’s bothering you as fear at all. It could be a feeling or situation you habitually avoid, or leave to others to handle. Whatever it is, the only way to overcome it, is to confront it, draw on God’s strength and make a decision to change.
The bible says in Proverbs 28:1 that the righteous is as bold as a lion. I pray that you receive the spirit of boldness in Jesus name. Amen.
God is saying to someone today that “you can overcome your fears, don’t let the report of the doctor inject fear in you, don’t let anything put you under bondage of fear because, God offers you strength to overcome it. Here’s a promise you can stand on, ” Isaiah 41:10 God said “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
I pray for you today, never again will fear dominate or have grip on you in the mighty name of Jesus. Faith will replace the fear in you from now in Jesus name, Amen.
Take advantage of the victory in this season; Isaiah 9:6; For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful; Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. May wonderdul things start to happen in your life from today, and the peace that is permanent in Jesus name.
Prayer point: O LORD, please replace my fears with courage and faith in Jesus name.
Key Dose: Fear has torment, but faith produces boldness that overcome fear. Have Faith.
