GOD’S WORD IS INFINITE

Memorize : “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”. Isaiah 40:31

Devotional Reading: Psalm 1:1-5

The Holy Scriptures are perfect, and they do not change. There are no deformities or mistakes found in God’s Word. In John 1:1 the bible says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” God’s word existed in the beginning and carries the same authority and power today even as it was in the beginning. It doesn’t change! Througout the bible God spoke His Word through selected prophets both of old and our time, He is still confirming His word today, through different signs and wonders. This makes it clear that God’s word is ever powerful just as if it was just written today.

God’s word is whole, as children of God, we cannot choose to believe some parts of the bible and not others. God’s word serves as a guide through this life, and therefore, we must adhere to every word. God promises to bless us immeasurable through His word, but He also guarantees that we will go through suffering. Romans 8:18-19. We cannot accept the promises of God and not the suffering. We cannot receive the good that the bible has to offer, and reject what we don’t like. As a child of God, your life is not about you, it is about revealing the Glory of God and to do that we must embrace every single word from God. His Word is true and remains true when we take in all of His word and not just what seems “appealing” to us. When we take God’s word apart it is no longer the truth and it cannot be our shiled.

2 Timothy 3:16 says “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” I am sure that you saw the words “all scripture.” This means that, no part of His word can be regarded as old, or no longer applicable to our present situation. From Genesis to Revelation, The Word was given by inspiration of God and in Matthew 24:35 it says, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

As children of the Most High God, don’t join any conservation where people are rejecting some part of the scriptures regarding any topic. Say, only what you know to be true and if anyone disgarees with you then just remember, that God is the word and in Psalms 138:2b it says that “for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.” God places His word higher than His name. This should get you thinking, and make you realise how true God’s word is and that it will never change.

If want the bible to work for you, believe every Word you see in it, meditate upon it, and the Spirit of God will help you understand it. Psalms 1:2-3 says “But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Beloved, are you discriminating against God’s Word? Do you have the right bible? Get a good Holy Bible and begin to meditate gently on God’s Word, and you will begin understand it.

Prayer point: They that wait upon the LORD, shall renew their strength, wait for God’s perfect time, don’t run ahead of God

Key Does: The knowledge of the Word is profitable, but it is the power in every scripture that set’s free.
