Devotional Reading: Exodus 40:1 – 38
I wish to commence today’s devotional with a question – Do you have a dream, or vision or purpose that you wish to fulfil or accomplish in life? There is grace for you to live your dream, fulfil your vision and accomplish your great purpose. Our God is a supplier of grace for purpose. Nothing will hinder you from fulfilling your great purpose in life in Jesus name. Just as the word of God had declared, that death will lose its grip on both the young and the old. In Genesis 15:15, God said to Abraham “and thou shall go to thy fathers in peace; thou shall be buried in a good old age”. With all sense of boldness and assurance in the word of God, there is power for manifestation in the word of God, I can tell you that no devil has power to remove you from your purpose until you accomplish and fulfil them – what you need is grace. Oswald J. Smith was still preaching at the age of 93! One morning, he said, “well, I don’t know how many 93 year old pastors are on the pulpit this morning, but I’m glad I’m one of them.” Rev. Samuel A. Sadela was regarded as the world’s oldest preacher at 114, till he died he was still preaching and also my mother here at the London branch of our church Rev Mummy Esther Lambo is 76 years, she is still vibrant, preaching the word of God and doing mission work. My father Rev Isaiah Ademuyiwa is a retired pastor, he is 93 years, he is still strong and vibrant in the Lord, preaching and doing evangelism.This explains to you that you too can fulfil you days without the fear of failure or death
David died at a good old age in 1 Chronicles. 29:26-28 David reigned over all Israel for forty years, seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty-three years reigned he in Jerusalem. There is a provision for those that seek the Lord according to Psalms 34:10 “the young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. Long life is a good thing to desire, if you therefore, desire it, God will give it to you, there is grace for long life if you ask for it, the key to it is keep seeking after God. It’s a choice, all i am doing is provide you with relevant information that will stimulate your good desires and enhance your choice?
You are a covenant child. You are connected to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. You are saved and washed by the blood of the lamb, so you’re connected to the Mosaic blessing. You also belong to the Joshua and Caleb generation; so long life is your heritage, you have a goodly heritage. I pray for you today that you will not fail in life, and death will not take you before your time in Jesus name.
Beloved, don’t believe falsehood that you will die before your time, or that you will not fulfil your great purpose, NO, you won’t, faithful is He who died for you on the cross of Calvary and redeemed you, he will keep you to the very end in Jesus name.
I pray that God will give you the grace to accomplish your purpose and fulfil your days in Jesus name.
Prayer point: O LORD, grant me the grace to fulfil purpose and live long in Jesus name. Let your grace elevate me to the place of glory and fulfilment in Jesus name.
