Devotional Reading: Jeremiah 1:1-5.
For everyone that God has created into this world, He has a plan and purpose for everyone. From our memory verse of today, we can see clearly that even before you are conceived in your mothers womb, God knows you and He has a plan and good thoughts for you..
Going further, God has decided and .and made you according to his plan and purpose. Your complexion, height, shape and other features and composition of your body have all been decided by God. Hence, you should be content with who God has made you. It surprises me when I see people changing the original composition of their appearance and look. In my opinion, God knows what is best for each one and because His thoughts towards us are good, He made each one of us according to His master plan which no human knowledge or science can improve, and even if they make effort to improve it, they will soon discover that, they have not actually improved it, they have made it worse.
No man, or science, has your blueprint. Only God does. God knew you before anyone could think of bringing you into this world, and designed you for a purpose. Daniel.2:21 says “And He changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding”
There was a young man who went to school and could not make it, finally, he ended up in a technical school and learnt how to fly a plane. A certain man of God bought an airplane and needed a pilot, this young man applied for the job and got it. He was quite satisfied, then one day, the man of God had just finished preaching, and those that wanted to be prayed for were so many that he couldn’t do it alone, so he beckoned on his pilot to assist him. The young man assited him and miracles began to happen. Today, that young pilot is a renowned world evangelist, who God is using mightily all around the world, whenever and where ever he shares his story, he would say, if he had been very brilliant, he would have ended up being a university professor, but may not be fulfilled because that was not his calling. He allowed God to work out his plan for him, and today, he is bringing blessings to millions of people all around the world. He started as a pilot, today he is a global evangelist and buys planes for ministers because he allowed God to manifest His plan and purpose for his life.
Don’t ever condemn your being, or compare yourself with another, rather be thankful daily to God because He knew why He made you who you are. He didn’t make a mistake. If God wanted you to have a broad nose and pink lips He would have made it so, if He wanted you to be man and not a woman, He would have made you so. When you see somebody much stronger, beautiful, taller, shorter than yourself, just glorify God. It is often said that it is not lack of food that has made a cat smaller than a dog, it was God who limited the size of the cat for a reason. Whatever you are today and wherever you are today, know that God has a purpose for you there, all you need do, is ask the Father to make known unto you His purpose and plan for your life.
Prayer point: Father, please make known to me your plan and purpose for my life and help me be content in Jesus name.
