Memorize: And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me. 1 Sam. 16:17
Devotional Reading: 1 Samuel 16: 14-23
Moses was a man who enjoyed close relationship and fellowship with God, however, he did not take God for granted. He understood the importance and value of “Divine Presence” Exodus 33:15; And he said unto him, if thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. Moses was not prepared to continue on his journey with the children of Israel unless he was certain of God’s Divine Presence. There is so much to ‘Divine Presence’ that it cannot be secondary or guessed.
One of the things any believer could ask for in the race of life is divine presence. It makes all the difference. Divine presence is a force that makes darkness to give way at the appearance of light. Any believer who carries divine presence carries the Shekinah, protection, blessings, grace and power of God. You will agree with me that, such a person is great threat to the devil.
I have seen people struggling to complete certain assignment while other’s do it without stress, the difference between such people is that one is a carrier of divine presence while the other is not. David was carrying divine presence, that was why the king could spot him even when he didn’t look like the real one. The servants of Saul concluded that “…And the Lord is with him.” that Is the presence of God. The fact that the situation which surrounds your birth was not comely doesn’t erase your name from good things. I want to assure you that, if you have given your life to Christ and you are saved from your life of sin, God’s presence is with you always, if you are not sure, ask for it like Moses did.
A man can carry Divine presence which brings blessings untold, while another man can as well carry divine absence which can spell doom. The story of Jabez was an example of a man whose divine presence was absent in his life. The bible says he is honourable yet living like a slave, until he realized that something is missing in his life, he never achieved notable results. When divine presence is absent in a man’s life, business or family it will be difficult for such a man to excel even in the midst of abundance. There are people that have all the good things of life but yet not peaceful. The presence of money cannot bring this divine presence. It is only available to those that are born again and living in accordance with the ordinances of God.
The Lord said there’s a man who is using this devotional, you have lost your peace due to one thing or the other, the lord said if you will return back to Him, your peace will be restored and you will never lose it again.
If you want this divine presence you can have it but you must first be born again or rededicate your life to Jesus. That is the only way to receive it. Don’t let the devil push you around again, allow God to help today.
I pray that you will always carry Divine Presence of God anywhere you go in Jesus name.
Prayer point: My heavenly father, please make me a carrier of your divine presence in Jesus name.
Key Dose: Divine Presence is all you need to succeed in life.
