Devotional Reading: 2 Samuel 21:15-22
There is an awesome GLORY that comes with the presence of God which is indescribable, it is heavenly and glorious.
From our devotional reading of today, we can deduce that King David knows the importance of divine presence and the Glory that comes with it. He was aware that without God’s presence his life will be irrelevant and in a mess. He pleaded with God not to cast him away from His presence. Moses also after God assured him that his presence shall go with him, he asked God to show him his Glory. Exodus 33:18; And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. I consider that this is a prayer every believer should pray seriously.
Like I mentioned to us yesterday divine presence guarantees safety, you can be rest assured that any where you go, God’s presence is with you and His Glory surrounds you. It was divine presence upon Esther that granted her favour in the sight of king Ahasuerus. she wasn’t the most beautiful mind around, she was a slave who came from unknown poor background, an orphan, from all indications she was not entitled to be the king’s wife talk less entering the palace but because the presence of God was upon her, favour naturally followed and paved way for her.
I am praying for you today that all through this month of June, favour will follow you and pave way for you in Jesus name. Favour that comes from carrying DIVINE PRESENCE surrounded by His glory.
Also when GOD’S presence is with you the battles of life will be won and you will experience the glory of victory, in 2 Samuel 21:15-22. David’s men won four different battles with the sons of the giant. These guys were built for war, their generations are giants, they are bold and courageous, so there was no way any one or group of people could defeat them. But to their amazement David’s men killed all of them because God’s presence was with them and His Glory surrounds them. I need you to understand that for as long as God’s presence is with you battles will be won effortlessly for you and I see that happening in your life this month in the name of Jesus.
How can you be a carrier of the divine presence continually? Depart from sin, stay in holiness, study God’s word daily, worship him regularly and pray without ceasing.
I pray for you and your household today, that in this month of June, you will enjoy the Joy, blessings and favour of God. Anywhere you go, His Presence will go with you and He will surround you with His Glory. Every agenda of the enemy concerning you is today terminated. Every fault in your foundation, I declare complete solution over it in Jesus name Amen.
Prayer point: My father and my God, please let your Glory rest upon me by your presence.
