Memorize : Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead yet shall he live. John 11:25
Devotional Reading: John 11:20-25
When the Lord told Sarah that she would have a son, she was about 90 years, while her husband was 100 years old. It was a long time since she last had her menses. She read the news according to their aging retiring body which biologically has become infertile. But God asked her a question: is anything too hard for the Lord? He is God, He is never late. Anytime He arrives is the right time even if man’s reasoning is contrary. In John 11:21-23, when the lord showed up to Mary and Martha, they felt if He had come a few days earlier, He could have prevented Lazarus from dying. Now that he was dead, they thought it was too late. He deliberately delayed his coming so that he could maximize the glory that will be given to His Father.
Do you feel God is appearing late in your situation? Don’t worry! He will intervene in your situation at the right time. His time is the best. God is always on time. He is never too early and never too late.
Is there anything too difficult for him? Nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing is too difficult for Him. What can God not restore? Like the story of Lazarus, God can restore life. In the name that is above every other names, every good thing that is dying or dead in your life, body, family, business or ministry, they shall rise and live again in Jesus name. God can restore your health totally and perfectly. In John 5:2-9, a man was sick for 38 years, he expected his miracle for that long period, But when God said his time had come, the sickness of 38 years became history instantly. What is that sickness or disease in your body? This season, the Lord will heal you and restore your health completely in the name of Jesus.
In Genesis. 2:21-23, when the first and original surgeon performed the first major operation, not a drop of blood was spilled. And no scar was left. Whatever earthly doctors are discovering today, the great Physician had known from the beginning. He still performs operations today.
A man was hurt during the civil war of the 60’s. He died but in God’s mercy, he was given an opportunity to come back to earth. On returning to his body, he felt the pain from where he was shot. From that moment, he was carried from one hospital to another but he got thinner and worse. One day, he was carried into a church.
He was thin and scary as a scarecrow. He looked like a broom stick. When the Pastor and the minister saw them bringing him, they jumped out through the window. He was abandoned there for long but one day, a doctor and some nurses came and performed an operation on him. He watched everything live, his decayed intestines were removed and replaced with brand new ones. Then he was covered up. No blood or scar. Before leaving, the surgeon introduced Himself as Dr. Jesus. That Dr. Jesus will perform your needed operation today. He is the God of all flesh and nothing is too difficult for him to do, he will do yours too in the name of Jesus.
Prayer point: Thou great healer, by your mercy, please heal me today in Jesus name.
Key Dose: Jesus is the giver of life and creator of the universe, you can trust him for your healing?
