Devotional Reading: Esther 4:1-17
In making the best of this year, there is a place of personal responsibility and making tough decisions. Life does not count on it’s own. Every life that makes impact which you see and admire, was made possible by someone taking responsibility and volunteering to stand in the gap for others. If you desire to make a meaningful success this year you must have strong determination in making it so. Esther made her life count, not minding the consequences of her action, she took responsibility of saving the Jews upon herself, she stood in the gap for them and her request was granted.
Job, the greatest man in his time from the east said “that which I see not teach thou me” Job 34:32. He acknowledged his need for knowledge and called upon God for help. His yearning for knowledge delivered certain secrets, which made him a positive reference in history till date. Do you want to make the best of this year 2020? Then be a committed student of God’s word, devout precious time to searching and meditating on the word of God, pray for yourself and others, the deeper you get into the word and dig deep in prayer, the greater your impact in life. That beautiful picture of your future is hidden in the scriptures and communion with God, until you search it you won’t find it, and until you find it, you can’t capture it.
Apostle Paul of all the apostles made his life count by giving himself to studying the word of God, he served God and preached his word fearlessly. Paul was regarded as the greatest among the apostles, because he devouted his life to studying the word.
You too can be so commited in your assignments for God, doing them with so much passion and faithfulness that you can overtake some people who had gone ahead of you, this happened to Paul, he overtook others and made laudable impact than any other apostle. I pray that God will distinct you with favour and make your life count this year 2020 in Jesus name. The secret is, study the word of God and follow the admonition and advise of Paul “study to show yourself approved unto God” 2 Timothy 2:15. May the LORD approve you in Jesus name.
I pray for you today, that your life will count massively this year and make positive impact that will shake the world. I also pray for everyone reading this devotional that this year 2020, God will give you great ideas and clear visions that will transform and make your life a beautiful story of success in Jesus name.Your life will find expression of God’s glory in the name of Jesus. This year 2020, your life will be a wonder to many people and great testimony that will draw souls to Christ which will further develop build and populate the kingdom of God. I pray that this year 2020, the LORD will give you grace to go higher and become very great like Isaac, until you become an envy to the Philistines around you. This year 2020, you will end a complete success story in the name of Jesus.
Prayer point: My father and my God, please make me a success story this year 2020 in Jesus name.
