Devotional Reading: Romans 8:1-14
As we continue in the month of total redemption, there is translation power of life in the blood of Jesus, shed at Calvary, we now enjoy the statue that Jesus possesses. Our redemption by the blood has made us worthy to become partakers of the inheritance of the saint of God. By the blood, Jesus took us from under the domain of the devil and brought us unto Himself. I pray that you will take advantage of the provision in the blood of Jesus.
By the virtue of His blood shed on the cross at Calvary, we have been justified which guarantees us deliverance from wrath and death. Romans 5:9 God has justified you therefore, nobody can stand against you or lay charge against you. In Romans 8:30 bible says “whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” This is to confirm with all sense of boldness that Satan has no right to condemn you.
By the blood of Jesus, we have eternal life and inheritance, Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.” Jesus shed His blood to obtain this benefit for us, not for himself. He restored our original inheritance that was lost to sin through the first Adam.
In Revelation 5:9-12 the bible explained in a clearer term our benefit of redemption which was given to us through his blood. “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.
The blood of Jesus through redemption is our access to New Jerusalem. He has redeemed us from our low estate into the great height of God.
There is power, power, wonder working power in the blood of Jesus.
Prayer point: O Lord, please give me a new life by your blood.
Key Dose: Only the blood of Jesus can set us free from our sins.
