Devotional Reading: Luke 15:11-18
The quality of life cannot be better than the quality of our thoughts. Our lives are determined by our thoughts. The bible shows that great thinkers do great exploits. God commands thinking in Isaiah 1:18-20: “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.
Thinking in accordance with God’s plan or agenda is what I am talking about.
Your thinking level has a vital role to play in your pursuit for greatness which cannot be obtained outside the plan of God for you. If you are thinking of starting a project and all your mind thinks at that time you want to commence the project or pursue a goal is failure or disappointment, your chances of experiencing success or achievement will be low or nill. No man can achieve anything without a strong positive mindset.The mind is the gate to life. You need to wear the mind of Christ which is the mind of faith, boldness and sound mind which will lead to accomplishment, success and greatness so that you will not be stranded in any situation.
When your thinking is in alignment with the word of God, you can make a declaration over your life “I am the head and not the tail” “whatsoever I lay my hand upon will prosper” “the arrow that flies by day will not touch me” thoughts and declarations like these gives you confidence even in the midst of storm.
Thinking is a responsibility for anyone that desires transformation. The devil couldn’t stop the prodigal son from coming to himself. The bible said “And he came to himself”, I am sure he must have been thinking of all the good things he has missed in his father’s house, because he thought to himself, it is well, his sense came alive and confidence landed on him – he said “I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee” Luke 15:11-18, immediately, his shame was exchanged for dignity.
Deep thoughts will produce great result. The strange characters we have in the body of Christ today is as a result of the non-thinking multitudes of Christians, complacent Christians, who just think that things will change on their own. Nothing change on its own, every change is consciously effected and no change takes place without thought. A thought gives birth to decision and decision that is acted upon becomes manifestation. In this month of Divine Manifestation, miracles and breakthroughs will manifest in your life in Jesus name.
When you meditate on the word of God, it provokes inspiration which sparks manifestation. Don’t think failure, don’t think I can’t do it, don’t think defeat, don’t think disappointment, and don’t think things will change on its own. Think like God. Our God is a God of action. Work on your mind that is where transformation takes place. Think radical faith in God, think success, think victory, think acceptance, think greatness, let your heart be filled with positive thoughts always, even when things don’t look it. Remember that “as a man thinks, so he is”
Prayer point: O God of Revelation and Manifestation, let my positive thinking produce supernatural manifestations in Jesus name.
