Devotional Reading: Matthew. 5:1-16
There is a common saying that “knowledge is power” this is not entirely correct, the correct statement should be “Applied knowledge is power” Until we pursue and apply kingdom knowledge, it will not produce power. Hosea 4:6a; says My people are destroyed for lack of Knowledge. What separates success from failure is the acquisition and application of quality information available that leads to success. Some time ago, the senior brother of a 1st class monarchs wife needed assistance in obtaining an important document, the quality information I gave him enabled him obtain the document far quicker and at cheaper cost, he called me to show appreciation because he benefited from the power of information he received which he applied.
It is similar with kingdom matters, We need to acquire kingdom knowledge and principles by which we can operate, we should also ensure we apply the principles, once we do this, the following aspects of kingdom life will be evident in us.
Number one is Fulfilment of PURPOSE Kingdom Knowledge will produce a revelation in our lives that will help us identify and accomplish our purpose in life. come first in our lives. When you understand your purpose in life as kingdom citizen, your role in the kingdom becomes clear to you, it will motivate your accomplishment. This principle was true in New Testament times, and it is still applicable today. This i believe was the reason why Jesus encouraged us to, “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you” Matthew. 6:33. You must find your purpose in life and live it.
Similar to the followers of Jesus in the first century, we currently live in a society that has become increasingly hostile towards the gospel it is full of wickedness, hatred and iniquity. Without knowledge of God’s word, divine direction and understanding of the nature of His kingdom, we will never be able to succeed and be accomplished in life until we find our purpose. When others are doing their thing, you will also think it is your purpose. Whereas, your purpose may clearly be different from the purpose of another person regardless of your close relationship or association. The deeper you are in kingdom knowledge, the clearer your purpose becomes. The main reason God reveals our supernatural purposes is so that we may proclaim and expand His kingdom here on earth and this is the will of God for us.
My prayer for you today is that you will heed the advice of our grand master and messiah Jesus Christ by seeking the kingdom of God over and above every other thing and apply those kingdom knowledge, this will lead to revelation and establishment of your own purpose in life, ” applied kingdom knowledge, brings kingdom life”. may the Lord give you the wisdom to tap into this knowledge and take advantage of it, so that the impossible can become possible in your life in Jesus name.
Prayers point : O LORD, please help me pursue your kingdom here on earth so that i can live kingdom life here and in eternity in Jesus name.
Key Dose: The more you seek the kingdom of God here on earth, the more God will open great doors and opportunities for you to live a fulfilled kingdom life.
