VICTORY IN PRAISE PART 2

Memorize: Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. Psalms 67:5-6

Devotional Reading: Psalm 67:1-7

I am concluding this topic in today’s devotional, I explained last Friday in part 1 how praise is a weapon of warfare that can give us victory. I will explain today, the effects of positive changes that can happen through praise.

A bible character that stood out and became notable for his ability to praise God so much that he won God’s heart was David. Prophet Samuel described him as a man after God’s own heart in 1 Samuel 13:14; confirmed by Apostle Paul in Acts 13:22.

King David was renowned for his ability to offer quality praise unto God. He danced before the Lord with all his might, and all his mockers were silenced. Even Michal, his wife that mocked him, was barren until the day of her death. 2 Sam. 6:14-23. One very important thing you must know about praise is that God inhabits the praises of His people. As I said in part 1, Psalms 22:3, God only inhabits the praises of His people, not their knowledge, prayer and fasting, or services. God dwells in praise, He will not dwell outside praise. David said I will enter his gate with thanksgiving in my heart, I will enter His court with praise, the atmosphere that God enjoy, is atmosphere of praise, and this is what guarantees divine presence and obtained victory for us. God cannot resist the praises of His people, especially when offered with holy hands.

Lazarus was dead and buried for four days. But Jesus arrived and said, “Father, I thank you,” just at the sound of praise death gave way for life and Lazarus that was dead four days came out by himself. That is the effect of praise and the victory it brings.

As you praise God today those chains around you, your marriage, family, business or ministry shall lose, fall and be broken forever in Jesus name, Victory is coming your way as s result of your praise in Jesus name, amen.

Don’t allow your visible situations to hinder your invisible breakthroughs, remember king Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20; he got victory in a battle between Judah a small nation againt 3 much bigger nations, the bible describe these 3 nations as multitudes, Jehoshaphat knew he stood no chance, but ‘Praise’ gave him a chance, not just a chance, praise won the battle and gave him VICTORY, that is another effect of praise.

As a church, in obedience to prophetic revelation, we are confident that our praise in this month of November will release abundant favour upon us and win VICTORY for us as individuals and as a church on every side, we are also confident that it will give United Kingdom the much needed direction that the country need especially on the issue of COVID-19 in the name of Jesus. The power of praise will also give USA divine intervention at this challenging time over the recent concluded elections. We also remember, the power of our praise will give the nation of Nigeria the Suppernatural intervention of God and bring peace to the nation in Jesus name.

The psalmist gave a wise admonition in Psalm 122:6; Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

The God of Jehoshaphat is still the same God today who honours praise.

Prayer point: O LORD, give us direction in our world.

Key Dose: No battle is too big for the force of praise unto God to win.
