YOUR HOUR IS NOW

Memorize: When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness. Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest’s house. And Peter followed afar off. Luke 22:53-54

Devotional Reading: John 7:28-36

Jesus in John 7:30 stated that they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come. This point is further proven in our text as Jesus stated that He was daily in the temple and no one could stretch his hands against him because the hour to take him had not yet come. What Jesus was basically saying was, no one could touch him until He permits it to happen and that will even be at the the time that He would allow for them to touch Him which was narrowed and restricted to the said “HOUR”. I believe Jesus did not use the term “your time” which could imply an unspecified definitive period, this could be a prolonged period but Jesus was specific to state THE HOUR.

He did this deliberately to let us know that no matter what we go through, it is only for a limited given period. This is why He used “your hour”. Therefore, if you are currently going through an unpleasant situation in your life, it is only for a limited short time. Psalm 30: 5b; weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

The devil has not been licensed to take control of your life; that problem you are going through has an expiry date.

Are you going through a situation and you do not seem to see the solution in view? No matter what it is, it has a limited time. Its time will soon expire in Jesus Name. Jesus laid down His life to die for us so that we might be redeemed, on the third day, He who has the power to lay down his life and to take it rose up.

I declare your day of resurrection has come today, every situation in your life that is contrary to God’s word expires now in Jesus Name. Your morning of joy has come, celebrate your appointed HOUR of victory NOW in the name of Jesus.

Prayer point: Father, thank you for bringing me into my appointed hour of victory.

Key Dose: Our God is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.
